Booster Bash

Last evening, the Speedway Athletic Boosters hosted the first annual Booster Beach Bash.  

Steve is a member of the Athletic Boosters and has been quite busy with this for the past few weeks.

Up to the day, the Boosters weren't sure how much money they would make for the high school
and junior high athletic teams.

Well, leave it to Speedway to support its schools!

Many people came, stayed, had fun, and spent money!

The Boosters made almost double what they were hoping.

No, I didn't win one of the $500 prizes
(although a Speedway teacher did, and people cheered over that win.)

Boone, Lily, and Ted left with something fun.

I won Ice tickets for Erin, a yummy chocolate basket for Steve, and a "collectors" car.

I know of a little boy who might like the car!
