off to the pumpkin patch

Saturday morning awoke

cold and windy, 

very much

the feel of autumn.

Hitting the pumpkin patch

early helped with the

crowds.

August loved playing

on the "hay mountain."

Picking just the right

pumpkin is always

tough.

Of course,

August found the best one of all.

Finally, a hint of fall

With some of the first cool fall-like weather

this week,

I am just beginning

to appreciate this season.

Since we are just in the

beginning stages of

renovation,

I wasn't too sure

I wanted to spend

much time decorating.

But, just a little bit of autumn

season in the house...

makes me happy.
