Buying local

For quite awhile,
we have been buying local produce, meat, and other grocery items from
in Indiana.

This company sells local food and natural groceries.

The goal of greenbean delivery Indiana is to make local foods more accessible and convenient.

They source local farms whenever possible.
In the spring, summer, and fall we can buy local produce.
In the winter we can continue buying local with eggs, dairy products, meats, and bread.

Currently we are able to buy organic cara cara and blood oranges from Florida.
They are so sweet and juicy.
I can find nothing in our local store that compares.

The eggs are huge and have the deepest colored yokes.
If a recipe calls for two small or medium eggs, usually one of these eggs will do.

The local farm free-range poultry compares to none in flavor and tenderness.
In fact, I am back to eating poultry because of this meat.

Not only do I feel good about helping out local farmers,
I feel great about having good-for-you-food at home
that is convenient, as well.

Take care,
Denise
